Apartment with Peeling Blue Walls Painted White
The blue paint was coming off in large patches. The walls were scraped, filled and painted white throughout the home.

Step by step
1. Where we started
Blue walls throughout the home, and in one room a large poster glued straight onto the wall.
2. Paint coming away
The blue paint had lost its grip and was peeling off in sheets, exposing the old layers underneath. Paint over it and it comes off together with the new paint.
3. Scraping
Anything that is not firmly attached is scraped off, in the rooms, the hallways and around the door frames.
4. Where the poster was
The poster came off and left a rectangular mark. That is cleaned and smoothed too, so it will not show under the new paint.
5. Filling
Holes and marks around sockets and switches are filled.
6. The first white coat
The white starts to cover the blue, one wall at a time.
7. Rooms finished
White, smooth walls with no trace of the old damage.
8. The result
A bright home with one colour throughout, ready to live in.
