Spray Polyurethane Foam on the Walls of a New Build

Step by step

1. Bare walls

A building with bare grey outside walls

A house under construction, with its outside walls still grey and unprotected.

2. The scaffolding

The face of the building with scaffolding before spraying

With the scaffolding in place, the whole height of the wall can be sprayed.

3. The polyurethane foam

The wall covered in cream polyurethane foam

Spray polyurethane foam goes over the whole surface and forms one continuous cream layer, carried around the openings as well.

4. Ready for render

The building with its walls covered in foam

The whole face is insulated, with no joints or gaps. Render then goes over the foam to protect it and give the walls their final finish.
