Painting
Shop Unit: Damp Walls Repaired and Floor Coated
An empty shop with damp walls was cleaned out and painted white, and the floor got a grey coating.

Step by step
1. Where we started

At the base of the walls, damp had left dark stains and peeling paint.
2. Scraping

The old paint that wasn't holding is scraped off the walls.
3. How far the damp reached

After scraping you can clearly see how far up the wall the damp had reached.
4. Cleaning

The floor is washed thoroughly of dust and debris before any coating goes on.
5. Painting

The walls are painted along the whole length of the shop.
6. The floor's turn

With the walls done, it is the floor's turn.
7. A new floor

The floor gets a grey coating, from the entrance right through to the back.
8. The result

White walls and a grey floor: a clean, bright space, ready to use.
