A wall with peeling paint was repaired, and a rough textured ceiling with broken patches was made smooth and white.

Step by step
1. The wall
The peeling paint is removed, the wall is filled and gets its first coat.
2. The textured ceiling
In the large room the ceiling had a rough textured finish, which collects dust and is hard to paint evenly.
3. A broken patch
Around the light fitting a piece of the texture had fallen off, showing the surface underneath.
4. Protection
Windows and floor are covered with plastic sheeting before work on the ceiling starts.
5. A smooth ceiling
The ceiling is skimmed smooth and painted white. The room looks brighter and cleaner.
