Step by step

1. The green room

A bedroom with mint-coloured walls

A bedroom painted a strong mint green, with marks and wear on the walls.

2. Filling around the window

Patches of filler around the window

The cracks and dents around the window are filled and sanded.

3. Under the sill

Filled patches under the window

The same goes for the wall under the sill, so the whole surface ends up flat.

4. White over green

The first white coat over the green

The first white coat goes over the strong colour. On such a dark base it takes care to stop the old colour showing through.

5. The room in white

The window wall painted white

Bright, even walls with no trace of the old green.

6. A second room

Patches of filler in the corner of another room

In another room, the cracks in the corner and across the wall were filled before painting.

7. Done

The corner of the room painted

The corner after painting, with no sign of the repairs.
