Concealed cistern
In other languages: Εντοιχιζόμενο καζανάκι · صندوق الطرد المخفي
A toilet cistern hidden inside the wall on a metal frame, which usually also holds a wall-hung toilet. Only the flush plate shows.

A concealed cistern is fixed to a metal frame, on the wall or just in front of it, and hidden behind plasterboard, a built-up stud wall or tiles. The same frame usually also carries a wall-hung toilet that does not touch the floor. It saves space, makes the bathroom look tidier and leaves the floor easy to clean.
Because it cannot be seen afterwards, it has to be installed right the first time: the frame level and firmly fixed, the water and waste connections checked for leaks before the wall is closed, and the toilet height decided in advance.
The mechanism is not out of reach. Behind the flush plate there is an opening through which the internal parts can be repaired or replaced without breaking any tiles. It is a good idea to keep the model details so spare parts are easy to find.
